Liverpool FC Academy New South Wales Coach Program Terms and Conditions

By completing the application form and making payment you accept the following terms and conditions.

If the participant is under 18, you acknowledge that you are the parent or guardian of the participant, or otherwise permitted to complete the registration on behalf of the participant.

  1. Payment

1.1 Payment of the full amount specified is required at the time the booking is made.

1.2 By clicking on the ‘Pay Now’ button you will be redirected to a third party site to complete payment. Terms and conditions relating to the third party site are contained on the payment page.

1.3 The price is inclusive of GST.

1.4 You will be charged a booking fee upon payment. The booking fee will be added to the price.

  1. Confirmation

2.1 A confirmation email will be sent to you after payment. If you have not received a confirmation email within 2 days please contact liverpoolacademy@scu.edu.au

  1. Cancellation and Refunds

3.1 If you cancel your booking at least 7 days prior to the commencement of the clinic or event, you will be given a full refund.

3.2 Refunds will not be provided where notice is not provided 7 days prior to the event or clinic. However, if the participant cannot attend due to illness or injury, you may request a refund by providing supporting documentation.

3.3 To request a refund please contact liverpoolacademy@scu.edu.au

3.4 All clinics and events are subject to change according to weather, programming and number of participants. If an event or clinic is cancelled we will offer an alternative course (if available and suitable) or a full refund.

  1. Privacy

4.1 The personal information on this form is being collected by the Southern Cross Football Centre, a registered business of Southern Cross University, licensee of the Liverpool Football Club International Academy NSW for the purpose of organising and delivering the clinic or event. Your personal information will be managed in accordance with the Southern Cross University Privacy Management Plan available on the following link http://policies.scu.edu.au/view.current.php?id=00018#s1

4.2 Your personal information may be disclosed to the Liverpool Football Club for the purpose of sending you club information and special offers. Liverpool Football Club will manage your personal information in accordance with the Liverpool Football Club Privacy Terms and Conditions which can be found at http://www.liverpoolfc.com/legal/terms-and-conditions#privacy

4.3 During participation in the clinic or event you may be photographed or videoed by organisers of the event or clinic. By participating in the clinic or event you consent to the use of those video or photographic images on the websites of Southern Cross University, the Southern Cross Football Centre or the Liverpool Football Club International Academy NSW website or in other marketing material, including flyers, brochures newsletters and brochures.

4.4 You agree that you may be contacted by the Liverpool Football Club International Academy NSW in relation to future events and clinics.

  1. Health and Safety

5.1 You have been asked to provide information in relation to any health issues or medical conditions relating to the participant. We require this information to ensure that we can make reasonable adjustments to accommodate the participant. We may require additional information depending on the medical information supplied to us by you. Please contact us if you have any concerns in relation to this issue.

5.2 In the event that the participant needs medical attention during any clinic or even then, subject to any written notice (which notice we must have received prior to the commencement of the relevant course) from a parent or guardian to the contrary, you agree to us arranging for any appropriate and necessary treatment.

  1. Disclaimer

6.1 You acknowledge that:

  1. i) The participant has voluntarily chosen to participate in the event or clinic and that it may involve physical activity of a strenuous nature and that there are inherent risks in all aspects of physical activity including injury and death; and
  2. ii) While all reasonable care is taken to ensure a safe environment the condition and safety of the venue is the sole responsibility of the owner.

6.2 On behalf of the participant, you waive any and all claims the participant or you may have against the Liverpool Football Academy NSW, Southern Cross University, the Liverpool Football Club and their employees, agents and representatives.

6.3 To the full extent permitted by law, you and the participant releases and discharges the Liverpool Football Academy NSW, Southern Cross University, the Liverpool Football Club and their employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability for loss, claims, demand, damage, injury or expense, that the participant or you suffer as a result of participation in the clinic or event, due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence.

6.4 To the extent permitted by law, Liverpool Football Academy NSW, Southern Cross University, the Liverpool Football Club and their employees, agents and representatives:

  1. will not be liable for any losses, damages, liability, claims, expenses (including for negligence and whether direct, indirect or consequential) arising in connection with the use of the clinic or the even; and
  2. makes no warranty or representation as to the fitness or suitability of the location or facilities.

6.5 You will be responsible for any loss, breakages of or damage to any equipment, accommodation or facilities caused or contributed to by the participant.
